Tom Jones Tribute at its finest, Ian Anthony - Tom Jones !!!!!

Ian Anthony is the headline act for the Abergavenny outdoor concert!

It was a beautiful sunny day in the Welsh Valleys as Ian and his team set up an outdoor sound system for the show! Together with local celebrity Nick Lewis, Ian prepared to entertain the crowd at this superb event!

In the idyllic setting of the Abergavenny Castle, things just couldn't have been better as the crowd set up their own picnic lunches. The ice-cream, the wine and the beer was chilled and much appreciated by the enthusiastic spectators as they danced the evening away to the best of Tom Jones's hits!

Here are just a few of the moments caught on film by our own specialist photographer, Bob Collier, who applied his magic touch to bring you these super shots of the day.........Thanks Bob!

The girls show us how to enjoy ourselves at a concert!

Are you sure that's just lemonade in those glasses ladies?

How could it be a Tom Jones gig without knickers?

This lady was just fantastic and joined in with Ian as he sang 'Help Yourself!'

Always a favourite with the crowd...

The leather trousers and white lace shirt give the iconic Tom Jones look!

Look out!

It's a stage invasion, and they're still drinking lemonade....honestly!

Some great shots of the crowd enjoying the music

and the sunshine at Abergavenny!

Sheila, Ian's wife and Sound Engineer, takes a tea-break and dances with her friends!

They travelled all the way from Cheshire to see the show.

Here is Debbie, Sheila's friend in pics. above, singing and dancing to 'Kiss!'

On the left is Ian, pictured with Debbie's daughters.

Faith ( the baby, who's my youngest fan) and Grace.

Faith likes Kiss, Sexbomb and Delilah. She 'screams' along to each song!

Bob, who took all these great photographs of the show, is Debbie's husband.

Voted best dancer and biggest smile of the day,

little Megan wonders what's going on?

Then, after all the music, dancing, eating and drinking........when everything goes quiet.......

The castle and its wildlife get back to doing what they do best............

A stunningly beautiful place, great music and a great crowd.

What an unforgettable day!

Our thanks go to May, Pip, Lisa-Marie, Emma, Chris, Andrew, and all the Abergavenny Carnival Committe for their superb hospitality and hard work.

Special thanks go to Bob Collier for providing us with these superb photographs and memories of the day.

And last, but definitely not least, Sheila and Brad, roadies to Ian Anthony and two brilliant characters who make this show happen!

Thanks for a fantastic experience Abergavenny, see you next time!
